Pedde Day

Day #93

Today is not only D-Day, June 6th, 1944, Canadian soldiers serving in the Second World War, took part in what would be the world's largest amphibious assault in the invasion of Normandy, France.

Today we honor those who fought and died.

Just for a wee bit of a sense of humor, it is also Tim Hortons's Camp Day. Money raised goes towards sending children to Camp.

And, best of all it is Pedde Day! Yes, 37 years ago, I became a Pedde. I do not celebrate the wedding anniversary any more..but because of my children and grand children, I celebrated Pedde Day.
So.. if you are a Pedde, love a Pedde, related to a Pedde, know a Pedde, like/love/know/acquainted with a Pedde.. Celebrate the Day!
Pedde Day

My brother, bless his heart, remembered. Which brought sad and happy tears.
So, I took this picture, of the Bleeding Heart in the flower bed at Rainbow Park.
Life has so many roads, paths, hills and mountains to climb. How, where, when and with whom you go on this adventure is what matters. Celebrating the day, even if its a tough one to get through, celebrate that  you made it!

Thank you for letting me say what I needed to say!

See you tomorrow!
