Day #89

I like to bake and try new recipes. I like to show off my creations!. Best of all, when friends, family or loved ones come over for tea, I like to treat them like Royalty. I hope that they leave my house with full stomachs, with smiles on their faces and loving every minute.

Grandma Toop made delicious buttery biscuits. She had made so many biscuits over the years that she had memorized the recipe. My goal was to make biscuits soft, tender tasty like hers.  I am always intrigued when reading English novels and 'Tea' time! Scones, cream, butter, jam and tea!
These scones apparently are baked at  Kensington Palace. The recipe comes from Bruce Richardson's book, 'The Great Tea Rooms of Britain.

Our company loved these English Scones. I will be making them again.

Thank you for taking a look!

See you tomorrow!
