Day #97
So many types of Bees. I did a quick google search, and there are over 800 species of Bees here in Canada.
The one I heard buzzing around, and I finally found him in the Lilac tree! It was a very large and busy Bumble Bee.
Bumble Bees are very important pollinators, esp. tomatoes! Did you know that they rarely sting. Bumble Bees are a declining species and are under the threat of extinction.

Insect --- Bumble Bee |
I used my canon zoom 55-250mm lens, to get a close up shot of this magnificent Bumble Bee!
In this photo he was just about to take off and find another bunch of Lilacs. Can you see his wings?
Thank you for taking the time to check out my photo!
See you tomorrow!
