Wide Aperture

Day #199

The aperture setting is measured in f-stop values, with apertures such as f/1.4 and f/2.8 often referred to as 'wide' apertures, as they have the widest opening and let in the most light, while apertures with higher f-stop numbers (f/11, f/16 and so on) are (perhaps rather confusingly) referred as small, or narrow.
Today, I was back out at the CN Bridge and shot this photo at F5.6. Middle of the road so for apertures.

I was very curious that these post pylons, they start at the bank of the river, and appeared, now that the river bed is exposed.
I have been wondering about the story.. were they the first bridge across, or simply an old dock to the river since we do know that stern wheeler's traveled up and down these rivers from Soda Creek and stopped in the area.

I thank you for taking the time to check out my blog!

See you very soon!
