Day #187
Reflection of Summer.
Slowly the days grow chillier and darker. The trees are starting to change colour, from green to yellows and orange.
We are starting to put away the summer frocks, and dig out our warm fall sweaters.
With the end of summer comes the time to harvest the garden, picking the last of the beans, lettuce. Collecting the tomatoes as they ripen.... then putting the gardens to bed for the winter.
As we get out and enjoy the remaining days of summer, we wonder when we will wake up to frost on our windshield!
Summer seems to have come and gone so very quickly, and as I walk in our parks, I think about the summer we just had.
For me, it was doing some traveling in my own beautiful country. Having all of my children gathering here for a family wedding. Spending time with my family, children, friends, and cherishing my grandchildren!
And then there was the Wild Fires in British Columbia!
Enjoy these last couple of weeks of summer and cherish those memories you have made.

Reflection |
The photo I decided to take today, was of Connaught Hill Park. Its green, lush, beautiful, and the flower beds make a great background and is a photographers paradise.
It is a great place to sit, have lunch, relax, reflect, before the 'City' gardeners will come and cut back or pull the flowers before winter.
So enjoy these last 2 weeks of summer! Enjoy the photograph!
Thank you for taking the time to check out this blog... if you wish to leave a comment, please do!
See you very soon!!
