7 Days Away

 I was away for a few days in Airdrie AB. My daughter and son in law are expecting their first child. This was my first time in Co-hosting 'a' Shower of any kind. The theme is
Halloween. Since is a favorite of my daughter's and children of all ages!

Spot light

We made and decorated  sugar cookies. When I took photos, I had notice the spot light from the sun! I took advantage of that and spot lighted the orange bat! (There were no cookies left from the party!) 

A Rose for a new momma to be

 Every new mom to be should receive some flowers. Even though they are starting to brown, they still smell so sweet, and look lovely!

I went over to my son's house, and spent some time taking photos of my grand son, James. He loves to ham it up while I am taking photos. (PS, I made that sweater!)

Cat tails

Cat tails photo was taken while we walked around East Lake Park. This  pond busy with gulls.

Bend

 We had dinner at my son and daughter in laws house. Ashton, was having a great time on the trampoline! I was trying to get some mid air shots (which I did!) I love this one because he was looking at me and smiled! 

And finally, Today was Aleah class play. "Nuts" She tried on her costume and performed one of the songs for me!

Nuts! 

 

 

 

 

I had a great visit with family. I am home now and I know in a few weeks I will be flying back to Airdrie to meet my new grand daughter!
