Stone

Day #29
 April 3rd '18

Today's photo challenge is "Stone".
While I was in Nanaimo, BC, my daughter in law and I, we took the kids for a walk along Departure Bay Beach. A cool place to watch the waves, the BC Ferries come in and out, birds of every type. You cannot help but do some rock and shell collecting. I told the grand kids that I can only take small stones with me, because of luggage space.
They have good eyes and noticed stones with interesting color and textures. Using different lenses, I did some macro and close up shots of these stones. These stones were more like pebbles!

I can see why the kids picked these stones. The unique patterns, designs, formations of the rocks. It was interesting to see the stones close up through the lens.

I hope everyone had an Easter filled with Chocolate, food, wine, family and friends!

Thank you for stopping by and taking a peek!

Until tomorrow!
