Effects

Effects, special effects. You can imagine a movie without effects or special effects. They add to the movie, make it believable and exciting. 

Editing photographs, I don't have Light room or Photo shop yet.( I am debating which one to get and to learn.) 

Editing sometimes can be an effect or special effects.  It can add to the story of your photograph. 

My canon Powershot SX530 HS, has special effects modes. This effect, you take a photo and it gives you 6 random effects, either with the whole prop. or a part of the prop.  The effects are interesting and fun to use. I think could be used as abstract art, poster, post card type of medium depending on the photo and what story you are telling.

There are other different settings on this camera, for example, toy camera, miniature effect, fish eye. Some of these I will use in future blogs.

I do like the effect... I think I could use it on a post card, or recipe card, something different and unique looking. I am now looking round the house thinking, now what will this photo look like using this shooting mode??
