Day #28
April 2nd '18
Today was a bright and sunny day, with the temperature at a high of 1c. Wilson Park is only a 5 min. walk from our house.
We normally stay on the paths, and we are cautious about walking near the river edge, esp. in the winter with the thickness of the ice.
We did, well I did venture a little bit out of my comfort zone. I would never do this alone. I think that I am a brave person. I can do brave things, crazy and a little scary not so much.
Walking with Robert, following his footsteps, I felt brave and challenged. Knowing the weather conditions is a smart, with the promise of warmer spring like weather next week, I would not be doing this!
Brave' photo taken in the middle of ice and snow covered Nechako River. |
Standing near the cat tails, knowing how tall they do grow. It gives you an idea how much ice and snow is on the river!
Thank you for stopping in and taking a peek.
Until tomorrow.
