The photo challenge for today is White & Black. I am thinking that the focus is white with/on black. Looking around the house, lots of combinations seem to appear. 

Using a black sheet, I created a mini studio and using a white fabric rose as my subject.

The camera capturing the imperfections of the man made rose, suspended in black.

I like the effect, one I will use and try again! Maybe with a real live Rose!
