HAPPY BIRTHDAY 

March 6th 2018

Today is my birthday. I won't say how old I am, but I tell my grand kids that I am old as dirt!

Some people on a day like today may evaluate their lives, the meaning of their life, new ideas and dreams. On a day like today they may chose to start a new goal. So, I think it is fitting that on my birthday I shall be starting a new project....365 days of photographs & blogs. This will be my second 365 photo project. 

My goal is to take a photograph each and every day and post it here with a few words of the photo, a story, a thought, idea or experience. I am hoping that this experience will help the 'artistic' side of my photography, as well as share my world through my eyes with the help of my cameras. 
 

 My first photo challenge is 'Strength' 
The definition of the word strength:
*a quality or state of being strong.
*a good or beneficial quality or attribute of a person or thing. 
'advantage, asset, forte, aptitude, talent, skill or specialty.'

   My love of knitting for myself, my home, my family gives me peace, relaxation and also being creative which in all gives me strength to be me. 



So, now I shall post this blog, and find a cuppa and relax while working on a sweater for one of the grand kids. I hope he knows that when he wears his sweater he not only gets a hug from  his grandmother, but that warmth from that sweater I created for him gives him strength.
