Close Up with Iphone

My last few trips, walks, hikes, I have noticed that people not only use a camera to get that amazing shot, but, there are a lot of people out there using their cell phones as their camera. 

In the past, I have used my cell phone for example, as a backup camera, when my battery dies in my Canon. Or if I leave my camera behind and just have my cell phone. I have seen some amazing photos taken with the cell phone, and I have discovered that there are editing apps for your phone as well.(Some ideas the future )

Today's challenge is "Close Up with Iphone".

My daughter gave me a potted Hyacinth for my birthday, and since I love to take photos of flowers I decided to see if I could get some acceptable close up photos.

Conclusion:

I think I shall need more practice with my Iphone to get better close up shots. I don't think my phone will replace my camera and my lenses.   

The pictures look pretty good on my phone, but once you downloaded them onto the computer I would delete them all. I guess it depends what you want to do with the photos.I like to print them off to frame, make my own cards, scrap book & journal or to keep on file as a nice memory celebrating a wonderful day.

So, I shall put aside my Iphone, dust off my macro lens and play!
