Immigration

Day #114
July 1st is Canada's Birthday. I could get into a thesis about the many people that make up out great wonderful and beautiful country.
When we were in Halifax NS, we stopped by this statue, which reminds me, and should  remind everyone how this country was made. People like my parents, after the war, came  to Canada from Germany, then settling in BC via Alberta to make a life better for themselves and to raise their family. They worked hard, explored their new country, dreamed, loved, created a grand life here!

Seeing the Immigration statue, and Pier 21 Immigration museum, reminds me of the how this country was built, plus making sure not to forget.

Thank you for taking a look!

See you next time!
