Day #173
Today was the Company Picnic at West Lake Provincial Park, located on about 25 min. drive from Prince George. The lake we all call West Lake, is actually named Nadislnich Lake! So much easier to say West Lake since the beach and picnic sites is all part of the Provincial Parks.
We woke up to rain, so we had a much cooler day and not a lot of people at the lake! The sun did shine in between cloudy periods. It was a very enjoyable BBQ!
(We are really enjoying the fresh air! Doesn't seem to be as smokey at the lake compared to being in town! )
We took a walk along the beach and watched a young eagle fly from his nesting tree to his look out tree. There were a couple of kids braving the cool temps to swim in the lake and the eagle kept a close eye on them!

There are always so many people beautiful photos of the lake/beach etc, that I thought this one was a different view of the lake!
I also added the picture I took of this young eagle.
Earlier in the day, there was another photographer with his camera and this amazing huge/long lens... I am sure you could count the feathers with that lens... I wonder how his photos turned out! I also added the picture I took of this young eagle.

I was using my 'Power Shot SX530HS' camera.
Maybe next trip to the lake, I will use my Canon 7D and my 55-250mm lens!
Thank you for taking the time to check out my photos and blog!
See you next time!
